Not so wild this evening, but quite wet. I took this photo just in time not to get soaked. It was raining but still fairly light.

We have started on our year end accounting close. This will joyous activity will finish just in time to start on the January month end close. Its a great life accountancy! Why are we so often mocked? How could anyone think either we or the profession are boring.

Towards the end of January, when the year end close is out of the way, we will treat ourselves to a dinner at Paola McEwan. One of Aberdeen's restaurants, a little bit out, in the central suburbs of the city. This must be a converted house, though the conversion must have happened a long time ago.
