The Beautiful Game

Baptism by fire for Purple Diamonds first game in the new league and their new coach. Not sure if it was just bad luck but their first game was against a team who had come down from the league above. Our boys took a bit of a pummelling. I've since distributed hot chocolate and Becks* and the ones who live here seem to be recovering.

And it's Friday night, the fire is lit and the Carlos curry is on the stove.
