We headed to the big shrine in Asakusa, apparently to pray for the start of the year, but after we got there I started suspecting that we'd only gone to feast at all the food stalls that had been set up. In the end, we sacked off queuing to pray for queuing for takoyaki and obanyaki!

Does anyone else think this guy looks like Kevin out of Coronation Street...?
