Staff Sergeant Charlie

Just couldn't resist! I met this lovely dog in the market place in Thirsk this morning. New camera to hand, the owner was delighted I was so taken with his dog that I wanted to take his picture. Charlie is ex-army and looked very much the part in his smart jacket.
Rather grey, damp and cold first thing but picking up now. The sky is blue and shhhh, the sun is out. Hope it stays that way for an hour or two so we can have a good afternoon walk.
I think I am going to have fun with my little compact. I must say it is great to slip into the pocket. I did miss the Ixus after it was stolen. Just hope I have set the date correctly Blip team!
