This is an interesting shot. It's a HDR image made from 3 rapid exposures that differ by 1 2/3 stops each. Here is one of those exposures and you can see that the windows and ceiling are blown out. By mixing the exposures in Paint Shop Pro's HDR Merge feature I was able to get the above image. Not bad considering the extreme lighting.

As for the new lens I was writing about yesterday, I did get it but have since discovered a problem. The lens' Image Stabilization feature is not working and so am going to have to return it. I'm pretty bummed about this. Everything else with the lens is great. So close, yet so far. Maybe the seller will pay to have the lens fixed. Have to wait and see...
