This is the 'real' France, more representative of the habitat than the sights that 75 million tourists per year come to see.

The astonishingly complex architecture in the photo is reminiscent of a filing cabinet. It's a 'people cabinet' where workers come to rest at the end of a day's work before setting out early the following morning to go back to work - metro, boulot, dodo.

The photo was taken in Viry Chatillon, about 20 miles south of Paris where I spent the day with my wif'e's nephew, Welsh wife and 4-year-old daughter. A good time was had by all.
