Collessie Parish Church

Collessie Parish Church was built in 1838/39 on the site of an older church. It sits on higher ground overlooking the village of Collessie, Fife.

This is the view of it from Birnie Loch Nature Reserve. Taken in low morning sunlight (a rare occurrence these days).

There were two highlights to my visit today -
a) A kingfisher zipped past the hide in a flash of blue - too fast to blip.
b) A red squirrel was feeding in a Scots pine tree but wouldn't expose its whole self for a decent blip and the camera kept insisting that it focus on nearer branches rather than the squirrel behind.
