Tats and hats

The theme of this year's Christmas party was "Tats and hats" (tats being tattoos). We had great fun in the office beforehand wetting temporary tattoos over various body bits. Stef had arrived in the office this morning with his tattoo already in place. He caused a few eyebrows to raise and he admitted that space on public transport wasn't much of an issue this morning - people stayed a little further away from him than normal. He had small black hearts arranged around the side of his face and down his neck. Around the base of his neck, just above the collarbone, the word "BITCH" was set out in Gothic type. He looked tough!

The party was great fun. I wasn't drinking alcohol and managed to find the cheapest drink in the venue (King's College student union) - 10p for a pint of soda and lime! I remember being charged £2.50 for the same drink at a pub in Campsie a year or so ago.

A few of us ended up in the piano bar in Charing X and I stayed far too late, but hey ho. Thanks to the guys who organised the party. It was an unofficial one put together by a group of workers (including two in the blip) since the company didn't want to host a Christmas party preferring a summer party instead.
