Walking the streets today picking out the pieces of color, the odd smile, a flash of something bright that breaks up this dreary winter in ha noi
Tonight a meal with my Vietnamese friends for my 'nephew' Truong's 4th birthday. We cook food in the middle of the table, the women put the tv onto Vietnam's Next Top Model - the men switch it back to soccer....
Some things never change and it makes me smile
