X10- Coming of Age Day

Today is Coming of Age Day in Japan (Seijin no hi). This is the day that people that reach the age of 20 are officially recognized as adults. The girls wear amazingly beautiful kimonos and the boys wear classy suits.

I love how the culture and traditions remain so strong here in Japan, even in this age of modern technology.
