Middle Barn

I am slipping again with yesterday's backblip but now all is as it should be! A few may be missed over the coming days as inspiration is lacking and one gets fed up with dull light and nature shots! This morning was perfect, sunny and so mild, not like January at all.

After lunch Tess and I walked over the cornfield to this old barn which has seen better days. Occasionally a Barn Owl shelters there and there is a barn owl window high up on the left hand end of the building. The badgers have undermined the foundation so the whole building is suffering with subsidence and will eventually, unhappily, fall apart. The enclosure wall has already collapsed and we have planted a copse the other side where deer and other wild animals hide. There are also bats in the eaves. The building will never be converted as there is no access from the lane. With no surplus money ruins appear.
