A bit sappy

About a week ago a night time wind storm dumped a heap of pinecones in our front yard and today I decided to rake them up. Seemed a good time to try to be creative and see if close ups of pinecones and sap would make a decent blip.

Apparently it confused the heck out of my grandma. As I was kneeling in the damp grass, bent over a lone pinecone, camera in hand and tush up in the air, she came out of nowhere, hovered over me and exlaimed, "What are you doing?"

"I'm taking a picture of a pinecone."

"Oh my gosh, you are strange!"

Some people just don't understand art!
