The Model Engineer Volumes 85, 86 and 87

They detail the building of the 3 1/2" gauge Molly locomotive (amongst many other things). These arrived in the post today... rather exciting - they have that musty old book smell and the little snippets of history (they are from 1941-42) amongst the articles of building the loco are fascinating. Things like getting hold of petrol to use when painting or the fact that the drawings would have been destroyed in the blitz had the author not decided to make some improvements...
