Scouring the drain

Been meaning to do this since Christmas. Our drive tends to collect water because it's lower than the lane to the main road. Years ago I put a drain under the lawn but foolishly (with hindsight) used small drainpipes instead of large ones. So it tends to get blocked in late autumn with all the leaves and other stuff. So today got out the pressure washer and used the drain attachment which was one of the best buys I ever made. Just a long pressure tube with a backward pointing nozzle. Stick it in the bottom end of the pipe and it pulls itself along. Then pull it back and repeat a couple of times. Here the nozzle is just poking out of the "upper" end - "upper" in inverted commas because the fall is quite small so this end isn't much higher than the lower end.
