Lost and then found

This morning I discovered the snake was gone. This was super bad news because Joey's first snake had escaped, not yet to be found. This morning LaChip ii was gone. Joey was devastated. He sat down on his bed in total defeat. He swore he wouldn't get another snake.
I began cleaning up his room, picking clothes off the floor. After getting most of the room clean, Joey gasps..."Mom, I see my snake!.". He was curled up in Joey's socks. So back in the cage we put LaChip II. Then we bought a more secure cage.
