Thistles the world over

When we left Scotland i didnt expect to ever see a thistle until we returned to its shores......NO
In a quiet little corner of our paddock in New Zealand is a thistle nursery. When you are in NZ there is a little piece of Scotland hidden in every corner, it might be a presbyterian church or a weed (like the thistle and the gorse the Scots introduced) or it may be the way the education system was founded and made available to females as well as males. Even if its not that obvious Scotland is always in your heart...........but the weather here is better :-)
