I suddenly got it into my head to do a type of shot I haven't done for 15 years.

So, having spent hours digging around in the loft yesterday, I emerged with a BBC B computer and several boxes containing homemade circuit boards, batteries, pumps, tubing and wires, wires, wires.

There were a couple of sheets of scribbled notes, none of which make any sense. It is yet another example of thinking: "This has taken so long to sort out, I am sure to remember it all.."

So, trial and error it is. The computer still works and the interface board too. I am reduced to taking pictures of the program listing on screen, printing them out and puzzling over what does what..
