Snow, snow go away...

You wouldn't think there could be too much snow at a ski resort.
You'd be wrong!

Overnight a further 30cms of snow fell. The road up to Tignes has been blocked and there have been avalanches. No lifts or ski runs are open.

The heavy snow continued all day, with high winds, causing severe drifting and we needed goggles on even for walking outside.
I played Texas Holdem poker in morning, with some city bankers. Here are my winnings, teabags are worth 100 euros. Sweets 50 euros, gold coins 20, and silver coins 10.
When they worked it out I'd actually won 2 euros.

No wonder bankers are rich and I am poor.

We adjourned for lunch in snack bar then drank alarming quantities of vin chaud in a cosy French bar.
A frustratingly lazy day as it continued to snow well into the night.
