The Old and the New

I'm always interested in examples of contemporary architecture where the new building is immediately adjacent to a historic building.

This is the Royal Academy of Music on the Marylebone Road in London. The barrel vaulted structure sits between two listed buildings and covers a rehearsal room which is largely underground.
