Mysterious Object

I walk past this nearly every day but this is the first time I've noticed it! I've no idea what it is. There was a ladybird on it, too (use view larger).

Have just noticed that this is my 40th day on blip. I'm pretty chuffed about this, although aware I'm a pygmy among giants in this regard. It's so much fun being here.
