Snowdrops

Volunteering at RSPB Lochwinnoch today and saw these snowdrops. Spring must be on its way.

Spent the morning digging out a small area outside the photo hide, filling it with sand and covering it with leaf mould and leaves to make it look like a woodland scene. Then clearing branches, small trees and debris off the paths caused by the storm.

In one area a huge tree has uprooted and taken half the tarmacadam of the path with it, waiting for experts to come with chain saws to clear it up.
