A lonely and expensive stone dog

This lonely dog caught my eye in a shop window on my way to work this morning. It reminded me of a similar statue that I bought as a present for my cousins in Toronto a couple of years ago. They have Italian greyhounds that look very similar to this one. One difference between the two stone models, however, is price. The Edinburgh version is about three times as expensive as the one I bought in Canada.
