Penguin Droppings

Behold: A Sign In The East.

It must be winter. The loch at the local Nature Reserve is starting to freeze over.

Sustenance must be getting in short supply, for this afternoon, a robin flew in through the open hatch in the bird hide and begged for food, taking broken pieces of peanut fron the palm of my hand. It then spent the next 15 minutes hopping around exploring the floor of the hide and benches before leaving where it entered. Actually, I thought the purpose of a bird hide was to make one invisible to the birds but this one knew immediately that I was there.
