Not going to win any prizes with this shed

Fixed up the red shed using the door from the blue one. Of course the blue door was too small for the red doorway, and with the light fading and nails too long to extend the door I had to make a very temporary fix to the door mounting. It is not good engineering. It is not even good jerry-rigging.

What is interesting, though, is the morality tale that this has presented. I had thought the blue shed was the one I was going to keep: it looks neater, had a lockable door, a symmetric design. But when the winds came it was the one which fell apart. The red shed might look a bit ramshackle but on further inspection it turns out to be have uprights which are concreted into the ground. I guess the moral of the story is not to make decisions based on looks but on performance under pressure.
