Up late having slept badly. Did some work but got an odd (for it) LaTeX error about a system file path not being reachable. But which one? Nothing in any log files, nothing in the Event Viewer.

Went for a swim, and chores. Still no luck with computer. Took dog for walk. Tried to use Photoshop, same error! So no OU work, and worse still, no Blip. Nooo!

Neither PSE9 nor MiTeX would uninstall because of a, you guessed it, unavailable system file path. But neither would tell me which. So decided to rebuild desktop, so started the long and boring task of storing data.

Evening was more productive. Went to a friend's exhibition opening, and caught up with another friend who spent the festive period in the jungle of Borneo. Only when I got home did it dawn on me that it was Friday 13th. Still don't believe in it, but it made me laugh.

There are better to be had.
