Crash!

While supping our cappuccino and hot chocolates in McDonalds at Spytty Road Retail Park in Newport (SE Wales), a car somehow ended up on its roof on the roundabout right outside. In the end there were six police vehicles, one fire engine, two ambulances, plus a rescue truck on the scene. The police were taking statements from lots of people who saw it happen. Afterwards a bloke (possibly the crash driver's father) was arguing with the other witnesses about whether or not she had been racing at the time of the crash, obviously he insisted that she hadn't and she "wouldn't have lied to her own father about it" (clearly that's exactly who she would have lied to). They insisted that she had been and that she had been overtaking dangerously and speeding. He did mention that she had only got the car yesterday....
