Swan

Spent most of the day with my grandchildren, making them into budding birdwatchers. They got VIP treatment at the reserve and were given binoculars and a challenge to find as many birds on the list as they could. They managed quite a few of the easiest and eagle-eyed Amy saw a tree creeper totally oblivious to the fact we were just a few feet away.

Then we went along to Castle Semple to feed the birds and have a hot chocolate. This swan obligingly posed for this shot.
