Walk in the Woods at Blackford

Cold and frosty, but dry and sunny. Lovely views of the hills with snow as we travelled along the A9 to Blackford to give Breagha her first big walk in a week. She wore her new boot on the injured back leg, and it did come off once but luckily we found it. We bought little socks to put on first and then the sturdy boot. It did not hamper her one bit. She was tearing round the fields and scrambling through the wood. It was great to see her running again after a week indoors.

We were all wrapped up warm against the cold, but it was great being outdoors and Cameron was scrambling over all the fallen trees, which there are many in the wood. Ben was in his element too making a drive for freedom at every oportunity.

Later, we went to Baxter's for cake and a hot drink, then a nosy around the shop.

Well tomorrow sees the start of the exercise regime with a 6am start for the baths opening at 6.30. I am aiming to start at 20 lenghs, builing it up as I gain strength. Better go and get organised cos not the greatest in the morning . . .
