Northern lights - again!!

Tonight I was feeling restless and bored, not in the mood for anything but didn't feel like going to bed early. I decided to pack my camera and tripod and drive out of town. When I was just north of Akureyri I noticed there were northern lights east of the fjord - just what I needed to spice up a dull evening! Wow!

So I drove to Hjalteyri and had an amazing hour there, watching and photographing the northern lights. Hard to describe with words, this is just the most awesome sight you can see here in Iceland :o)
