The colour of chocolate

This Blackbird (or Brownbird it should really be for the females) has the most lovely chocolate brownie-coloured plumage, don't you agree? It's like a winter wonderland out there with heavy frost covering everything. As I type this I'm watching a trio of Dunnocks performing a wing-waving ceremony to each other in the rosewood just outside and uttering little 'tzsee' noises. I also managed to photograph that female Greenfinch I was trying to blip a few days ago. Not the best of shots you'll agree so I think I need to try again.
