No, not an unusual spot of global warming

It's where the battery charger was underneath the bonnet of Marlane's Rover 25 all night.
Early afternoon yesterday I thought, 'Hmm, haven't used the Rover for over a week and I've got to pick the boys up in an hour' (Human boys from School, not the furry boys).
Went out to check the car was ok and found the battery flat as a pancake.
Put it on charge but 45 minutes just didn't do it so left it on overnight.
This morning I dismantled it and the engine fired immediately so all is ok.

WARNING - if not used frequently car batteries will run flat because of all the bits that are still being fed power such as the alarm/immobiliser system and other monitoring systems. Very cold weather will kill a battery if it's not in good condition anyway.
