Like any kind of music, Irish music is best shut out if it lacks light and shade and spirit. A good Irish session is something to behold, the one in The Dubliner in Oslo on a Sunday night is not. Hence we sequestered ourselves in the back bar with the doors closed to shut out the drone. Now I know why the staff here are all a bit mad.
