Trusty companion

This is my hot water bottle. I buy two every autumn and use them alternately swapping the cover over on Sunday nights. When it's very cold and my husband is away I use two. There are few weeks in the year when I don't need one. I discard them when I go away in the autumn taking one and then leaving it behind. This way I hope I'll avoid leaks due to aging. My mother and I used to alternate buying hot water bottles for each other but now I have to buy them every year.
