Superlambanana

Up at 4am wilth Elllis who wouldn't settle, finally got him off at 5pm. Understandable in a strange bed and expecting mum or dad to see to him. He slept in until 8 am but I knew when he got up that he wasn't right, didn't want breakfast and all he wanted to do was snuggle up.
We got on the settee and he crashed out for a couple of hours, he has developed a nasty cough and he's got a cold bless him.

When dad came for him Mike and I went over to Liverpool to see the Tall ships, we'd expected ships to be in the River Mersey. How wrong, absolutley nothing to see, they were all bearthed up in the docks, apparently tomorrow is the day when they will be in the River ready for the off. Whoever organised this one really needed to have made this event on a Sunday so more people could enjoy it. So disappointed. Crazy traffic as always in the City so glad Mike was driving

So instead of beautiful ships I've posted this Superlambanana, one of many. This one is by the bombed church and looking towards Bold Street.

I bought The Big Issue magazine from a street vendor. A lovely man who came over and told us he was from Sri Lanka, he said that mainly people were kind to him. I never got his name but he made an impression on me

Home now and ready for bed so apologies if I don't catch up proper tonight

Hope a good weekend has been had by all
