Well actually just a bloke with a headtorch standing in the middle of the Winner's enclosure at Fontwell Racecourse doing experiments behind a screen with a Bunsen burner - exploding jelly babies, coke rockets and the like.

All part of BBC Stargazing Live - which due to the fact that thick cloud was obscuring the stars - was more of a Black Hole than a Big Bang.
