Dolly's Day

HUNGRY BOBBY

Bobby has spent a quiet day today - he didn't seem bothered about being kept indoors. Bathroom is still his favourite place.

Managed to get a few tablets down him - it was a struggle though. Its really a 2 person job so vet said to wrap him in a big towel so he wouldn't struggle and then just open his mouth and pop a tablet in --- easier said than done. He hates the whole thing.

One of his tablets has to be given 1 hour before food so poor Bobby doesn't understand why he has to sit and wait for his dinner. ( He is used to having a dish of food available all day so he just eats a bit now and again ) My blip shows him asking for his dinner. No can do Bobby - you have to wait for an hour!.

He has never used a litter tray before - as an outdoor cat he has always done his " business " outside. So now he has to get used to another new thing. Seems to be OK about it though.

So lots of new routines for Bobby ( and me ) to get used to.

At 11pm last evening I had a phone call from Neil - it was 10am Oz time. He arrived safely in Melbourne. Settled in to a hostel. Didn't get the job he was after. Is delivering flyers - but the pay is meagre. If he doesn't find a better job by he weekend he is going off into the countryside to find a job on a farm.

He was phoning whilst wandering around a car park and found a few dollar coins and other money on the ground ( including a coin from Figi ). It was so amusing when he kept finding more and more money. Told him that when he is delivering flyers he should check out the pavements to see what he can find.
