Singing Away

Sitting on the end of a roof, this Curve-billed Thrasher is singing away looking for company. He sang for a couple of minutes and really put his "heart and soul" into his performance.

Our commuting to the County Seat is over; we have completed our Jury Duty and now can return to our normal activities. It was like going to work every day and we are glad that we have re-retired.

The bird photo was taken on a decompression walk after our return from Florence and the Pinal Pioneer Parkway. We were too late to return to the Monastery so we came right home. It was about a 50 mile commute, each way, and both of us in our car pool received mileage plus $12.00 per day for our service.
