i Pupi

This little chap is a ceramic articulated doll which I bought in a shop in Orvieto about twenty years ago. He's part of a collection designed by the artist in the Italian tradition, a bit like the UK's Punch and Judy.

There were plenty of bigger and more expensive characters, particularly popular was Michael, the warrior angel, but this little guy caught my attention because he was cute and appealing.
