She got a single!

This lady is one of about 300 players in the SaddleBrooke Softball Association. There are 8 Leagues and about 20 teams. There are games every weekday. The association also participates in tournaments with other senior communities. Over Thanksgiving they sponsor Grandchildren's Games for our little visitors.

The game is slow pitch and if the ball hits the plate it can be a strike. There are two home plates to prevent collisions. One plate is for batting and the other is offset and used for scoring.

Everybody has fun but the game is serious enough that people will pay $300 to $400 for a hi-tech softball bat.
