The horns of a dilemma

One of our modules this semester (I still can't say those words without using italics) requires us to either find (unpaid) work experience for 15 days (wasting enough paper on bureaucracy to fell a large forest) or to put on an exhibition.

One option is exploitation and (imho) undervalues photography as a profession by flooding the market with students offering 'free' work. The other option is expensive.

What would you do?
