Into the light

A footpath emerges from trees to a stile into open fields - just a few minute's walk from home. This was in one of the very few brief sunny intervals on a generally dull day, but only a little rain.

My niece Jessica has been allowed home for the weekend and has been feeling somewhat better. However, it is still not clear just what the problem is, and she will have to return to hospital on Sunday evening. Thank you for all the good wishes received for her.
