Prawn Cocktail

This afternoon MrsCyclops and I went to see The Iron Lady. I really enjoyed it - poignent and insightful. It really addresses two issues I feel are often overlooked with leaders, including Thatcher and Blair.

1) They are completely consistent and sincere in their actions - they genuinely believe they are doing the right thing whether we personally agree with them or not.

2) They are people too, and common decency demands a certain amount of respect. Even where we disagree with their politics or actions profoundly, they are still people.

We went to the shops on the way home, and then I made prawn cocktail to keep us going while we wait for the roast. Speaking of which, I think it needs to come out the oven now...
