Warhorse

Bill and I went with 8 friends for an Indian meal and then on to see Warhorse. The meal was really tasty and walking in the pouring rain down to the cinema we were full of anticipation about the film. Most of us had been to see Warhorse at the theatre in London, so were familiar with the plot and had hankies at the ready. Although the filming was quite superb we all felt disappointed as it was so far short of the theatre production. At the end there was just a real anticlimax - such a pity. Sad to reflect on the tragic loss of human life and horses. But, it was great to have such a fun night with good friends.
