Le Vent du Nord

We are just back from seeing Quebecois band Le Vent du Nord at the Concert Hall as part of Celtic Connections 2012. It's the third time we've seen them, this was their 10th anniversary concert and they were on fine form. Performing alongside them was a double string quartet, Scottish band Breabach, Irish band Dervish and Swedish band Vasen. We'd seen Breabach and Vasen before too at previous Celtic Connections concerts, so knew we'd be in for a fine night, Dervish were also great.

We were way up in the gods so even with the zoom it was impossible to take a decent picture. So I decided with this one to experiment and not try to hold it still but pan across some of the band, I quite like the effect I must say.
