Betula Jacquemontii

These Himalayan birch trees at Anglesey Abbey are strikingly beautiful in the flesh. However, I have found it hard to do them justice in today's blip.

There were so many people on the winter walk today, and so many cameras! The winter walk is famous for its many varieties of snowdrops and everyone was snapping away like mad.

I thought that I was going to wreck my back stooping to photograph the snowdrops,however, I also didn't fancy the other option of gravel in the knees.

Only the knowledge that it is steak mushroom and ale pie and chips for tea is going to get me through the Sunday ironing.
