Hôtel de ville

Sunday afternoon in the Marais! Many streets are closed to traffic and we ate delicious felafel and latkes for lunch at Pitzman's (rue pavée). We didn't skate but it was fun to watch the skaters in front of city hall.

I realized this morning that today was the last day of the "Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso... l'aventure des Stein" exhibit at the Grand Palais and so managed to get myself a ticket to see it, among the very last people through, at 7pm! It was interesting to learn more about Leo, Michael and Sarah Stein... all visionary art collectors somewhat under the shadow of Gertrude.
