Sunday Drive

The hubby and I picked up Uncle John and took a little ride to the Keel & Curley Winery in Plant City. Unlike the Lakeridge Winery in Clermont, this winery is more personal and quaint. Keel & Curley make their signature wines mostly from blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. They also have wines they call fusion wines that have grapes and blueberries mixed or other types of fruit mixed with grapes. On Friday nites they have music and on the first Saturday of every month they have a music concert with vendors and food that goes all day. We spent a couple of hours tasting wine and browsing around and thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, I had to come home with a bottle of their Dry Blueberry wine and also a bottle of Key Lime Freeze mix which will taste exceptional with some tequila in it. Frozen margarita anyone?

While there I thought to take a simple photo of their wine rack. I had the hardest time getting it straight and as you can see it's still not straight even though some nice people we met there moved over so I could take this. What can I say. They commented on my camera and we did have a good conversation about blip and since I didn't have any of my cards on me, they wrote the information down and I sure hope to see them on here one of these days. They were headed to the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa and we were headed to dinner.
