Golf Balls?

Last night, early this morning actually, decided to go looking for the Aurora Borealis, having seen a wonderful photo taken the previous night from the Yorkshire dales, and being told there was a chance to see them again last night.

Talk about gullible!

Not a chance. Didn't see anything. Got freezing cold, but did manage this shot.

Can anyone guess where it is or what it is?
