Uneasy

Most of the heavy rain seems to be way south of us.

We came home from the school run to find what can be best described as an ant mass exodus, abandoning their nests and carrying eggs up into the eaves of our garage. The mailbox has also been occupied.

Took this at the kids training session this afternoon, and it did feel a little too calm.

To top off the day, the sun peeped out for a few minutes and I saw the oddest thing ever. Like a rainbow, but more like a pillar. It was opposite to the sun, so I'm sure there's a complicated scientific explanation in there somewhere.
