Crescent Moon

Came out of ASDA this evening and saw this crescent moon against the deepening blue sky. Didn't want to risk waiting until I got home in case the clouds came in (which they did) and it got took dark (which it did) so fired up the camera in the car park.

Thankfully did not get accosted by any security guards and got a few photos between breaks in the clouds.

Would like to have gotten more detail in the limb but that would have meant losing the little hint of earthshine on the unlit side. Maybe I'll get better conditions and a bit more time tomorrow to try again...
